Let’s gather in anticipation and joy as we reflect on the hope, peace, and love of Christ this Advent season.

We’re kicking off the Christmas season with a merry night you WON’T want to miss! Join us as we celebrate the holiday as a community with a warm dinner, festive drinks, yummy treats, gingerbread house decorating, fun games, and Christmas crafts starting at 5 PM. Capture memories at our holiday photo booth, then settle in to enjoy a Christmas movie on the big screen at 6:30 PM!

It’ll be the perfect evening to connect, laugh, and celebrate this season together. So grab your family and friends of all ages, and come ready for a night full of Christmas joy.

Celebrate the joy of Christmas and the anticipation of the birth of Christ with us on Wednesday, December 24th at 5 PM at our Christmas Eve Gathering! Together we will enjoy carols, a special message, holiday drinks and treats, and a candle lighting.

This is a special gathering for everyone in our community to come together, reflecting on the year and celebrating the arrival of King Jesus — making Christmas Eve the perfect opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, and family to share in the warmth, joy, and wonder of the season.

We can’t wait to share the evening together, celebrating the hope and joy of Christmas!

December 24th | 5 PM | 1832 NE Cesar E Chavez Blvd

Throughout December, we’ll be collecting supplies to create Essential Care Kits for individuals in our community experiencing homelessness. Our goal is to gather 50 of each needed item, offering practical care and tangible support to our neighbors in need.

To make it fun and meaningful, we’ll be setting up a “Compassion Tree” in the Sanctuary. Each ornament on the tree will list a specific item and a small amount needed for the kits. Simply grab an ornament (or a few!), purchase the items, and bring your donation back to place under the tree throughout December. You can drop off your donations anytime at any one of the Sunday worship gatherings.

In January, our church will gather for a fun and meaningful evening to assemble and deliver these kits, sharing the love of Jesus with our community. (More information to come.)

Let’s come together in joyful giving to show God's love for Portland this season!

Middle School and High School students — it’s time to turn up the holiday cheer! Grab your ugliest Christmas sweater and come ready for a night of joy and chaos (the fun kind!). We’ll have great games, a hot chocolate bar, a holiday photo booth, and a sock exchange to celebrate the Christmas season together. (Socks must be new and wrapped please!)

Join us on Wednesday, December 17th at 6:30 PM in the Youth Basement. And bring a friend along — the more, the merrier!

Join us for a very special gathering on Sunday, December 21st at 10 AM, where we celebrate the final Sunday of Advent with a Kids Christmas Party! This is take place during the Worship Gathering and will include a special performance from the Society Kids Choir. We want to celebrate in the merriness of the season and the birth of Jesus with the whole family - so join in on the fun!

After celebrating all the Advent season has to offer - you deserve a rest! On Sunday, December 28th, we will be forgoing our typical worship gathering to practice Sabbath Sunday. We encourage you to take a break from the busyness of life and enjoy a weekend of refreshing your spirit at home or in nature, experiencing the peace of His presence, and spending special time with loved ones in communion with Jesus — and, join us again for our regular Sunday gatherings which will resume on January 4th.
