Holy Week is the most sacred week of the Christian calendar, inviting us to walk alongside Jesus from His entry into Jerusalem to His death on the cross, and finally to the hope of resurrection on Easter Sunday. It’s a time to reflect, remember, and enter deeply into the story of God’s love for the world.
At Society Church, we invite you to walk through Holy Week with us through prayer, reflection, and worship — at home and at church, on your own and with others. Our Holy Week Liturgy Guide creates space to pause, engage with the life of Jesus, and encounter the life-changing grace God offers us. Whether you’re new to faith or deeply familiar with the story of Jesus, we welcome you to share in this Holy Week with us.
Join us as we celebrate, mourn, and rejoice together — experiencing the heart of God revealed in Jesus’ final days on earth.
Note, we’ll be sharing our liturgy guide soon, with options to download or pick up a copy. Keep an eye out for this announcement in our weekly newsletter!
EVENTS
Palm Sunday
On Sunday, March 29th, we celebrate Palm Sunday — the day Jesus entered Jerusalem, welcomed by crowds waving palms and shouting praises. As we remember His triumphal entry, we step into the story of Holy Week and are reminded of the hope and joy that comes from praising Jesus as Lord.
It’s a day to lift our voices through praise and worship — come join us at 10 AM for our Palm Sunday service!

Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday is the night of the Last Supper, where Jesus shared a meal with His disciples, marking the first time Christians would partake in communion. It’s a night that reminds us of Jesus’ self-giving love, shown not only through the symbol of bread and wine, but also in His humble act of washing His disciples’ feet.
This evening offers a meaningful way to enter the story of Holy Week through community, service, and life with Christ. We invite you to mark Maundy Thursday by organizing a shared meal with with family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, or loved ones.
During this time, we encourage you to encounter Jesus together by walking through the evening’s special liturgy in our Holy Week Liturgy Guide. — available in the lobby and for download at the top of this page.
Check back soon for our liturgy guide, available both online and in print.

Good Friday marks the day we remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and is a reminder of the profound truth of the Gospel — that we are worth dying for. It’s a sacred moment to reflect on His incredible love, the depth of His sacrifice, and the hope His death makes possible.
We’ll gather for worship and prayer, remembering together the gift of grace and the path toward resurrection. Come as you are and walk through the story of the cross with us.

Holy Saturday
Holy Saturday is a quiet, in-between day. A day to rest at the tomb, to sit with the weight of grief and the presence of unanswered questions, and to acknowledge fear without rushing past it. It’s a sacred pause filled with anticipation — waiting with hope for what God is about to do.
We invite you to observe Holy Saturday at home using our Holy Week Liturgy Guide, creating space to rest, reflect, and wait with hopeful anticipation as we prepare our hearts for the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday.
Stay tuned — our liturgy guide will be available to download or pick up soon.
For your convenience, the liturgy guide is available for pick up in our church lobby and for download at the top of this page.
